  Overall this is a fantastic gym with lots of good equipment and a nice pool, sauna and steam room. It is clean and there are fresh towels and handy features like the spin dryer. However as others have pointed out it can become unbearably full of very young children whose parents bring them to the pool. If you are like me and want to come relaxed from work and enjoy a peaceful workout, you will need to prepare yourself. The sound of children screaming and yelling in the changing room is a feature until 7pm when families have to vacate. As I have said the gym itself is excellent, but especially on the weekends and the hours after school it is really a family swimming club. I wish they would create separate changing facilities for families to keep the gym a space for serious gym-goers.
  In the pool itself Nuffield does a good job of keeping at least 2 lanes open just for adults, and in the cafe area there is a space just for adults.

  I have attended the swimming pool only. You get a towel upon arrival and a decent size changing room. The lockers have been changed fairly recently to require you to bring your own padlock but they are quite spacious.
  
  The facilities in the wet area are:
  
  Swimming Pool
  Child pool
  Sauna
  Steam room
  Hot tub
  Showers
  
  The pool is regular sized and simple. The other facilities work well and do the job. They have two hot tubs but one is regularly out of action.
  
  Staff are friendly and they have refurbished the front of the building with a new cafè which seems a lovely place to relax.
